MGH Institute Career Services Blog

IHP Career ServicesThanks for reading!

Our Career Services Blog is intended to engage in meaningful discussion around “best practices” for job searching, interviewing, writing effective résumés and cover letters, and developing a networking strategy. The blog will be what we make of it, so I encourage you to ask questions, post opinions, and participate!

My promise is to provide useful, practical, and insightful advice that will help  in your career journey. I will be blogging about real issues that relate to students and alumni here at MGH IHP, and everything within will be “inspired” from advisement sessions and workshop feedback.

My hope is for this to become a space for us to ask questions and contribute to the overall success of each others futures.

Take a look at some of the new services we provide:

  • A new career services pages have been added to the MGH Institute’s website.  It is packed with useful resources!
  • A new interview simulation tool has been added – allowing users to practice their interview skills from their own laptops, tablets, desktops, and phone.
  • A new job board on facebook has been added – allowing students and alumni to stay up-to-date on employer job postings.
  • A Student and Alumni LinkedIn Networking Group (now 1,620 members) continues to grow – allowing students to establish deeper connections with past grads and keep up-to-date on IHP current events.

See you soon!
